"I unfortunately, share the experience of zero customer service. After making a special journey to calico for curtain material & have taken sample to match with. There were 2 visible staff in the store and no other customers. One of the staff seemed to be more interested in arranging silk flowers and ignored until I asked for assistance expecting to have the knowledge of her experience. I explained what I had in mind and showed the sample to match.. I was met by zero enthusiasm, and treated as though I was a nuisance for asking.....told look in the books! Since there were many I could have been there a more than a day! I was most disappointed and came away feeling that visiting the store had been a total waste of time."

"I left my Roman blind with them (purchased from Calico) and asked whether it could be repaired. The feedback I got was that nothing could be done and Calico recommended buying a new blind. I later repaired the blind by myself. The cords were just mixed up and needed restringing (it was easier than I initially sought). In this day and age, some places might not do repairs any longer. This is fair enough; however, shops should be upfront and honest about it. Recommending to purchase of new blind, while in fact there was nothing wrong with the old one is not right."

"The store itself is lovely. I purchased several different fabrics. Unfortunately I didn't get enough of one of them. I called to ask if it was possible for me to purchase more of the fabric. I was told they did not offer shipping. I understood this and I explained that I was in a bind and could not get to Cardiff, could they please allow me to pay for in and any the shipping costs. I receive a flat, unapologetic "no". I don't think my request was a tall order. Even if I could, I wouldn't go back."

"All promises and then a let down. Customer service is a ZERO! After an initial excellent visit to the show room and finding great fabrics and Then commissioning Calico to produce custom curtains for the whole of our new house then let us down. They said we had booked their service in perfect timing,14 weeks before we where moving in, they then decided that they would not meet our expectations. Wasting 6 weeks of our precious time and then saying they would not be willing to make them for us now. Even though they said they will refund the £50 fee that they charged to measure the house this does not make up for the let down. Customer service is at a zero sorry!"
