Reviews
"Had one of the nicest Sunday lunches I have had in a long time. The beef was melt in your mouth. Friendly staff and reasonable prices"
"Friendly welcoming pub, a bit off the beaten track but worth a visit. Good menu with well cooked food at very competitive prices. Fish and chips were very good for the price. Recommended."
"Very friendly, professional staff. Good menu and specials board. Excellent quality food. Value for money. Only criticism is.. car park needs more lighting. Highly recommended."
"Pleasantly surprising, given the pub's past reputation. Visited for a pre-Christmas Sunday roast with some friends who are moving to the area and wanted to check out their future local. The staff were very friendly and chatty, the food was excellent, and there was plenty of it - huge portions, excellent value for money. Making down to 4 stars only because the staff were still getting used to the place, having recently reopened, but I'm sure they'll be up to speed soon."
"We've been in to eat a couple of times since the recent change of management and kitchen staff. The new menu is good, well cooked and decent value. The rib eye steak was a good choice, and it would be nice to see the brisket burger on the Christmas menu stay on the menu after the holidays. It's also good to see the pub opening on some mornings for breakfast and coffee."
