"Absolutely fantastic vets practice. We had a bad experience with a different practice, moved our 2 then kittens over to this practice and they’ve been absolutely great. From the reception staff, nurses and vets themselves. Nothing is to much trouble. I’ve rung for advice before and given it. One of my cats was poorly on a Saturday morning, again rung for advise… seen by the vet by 4pm that day. Can not thank the staff enough."

"In general Hirds are excellent vets. This time, however, we saw a lacklustre performance from a less than enthusiastic staff member. No weight done for dog although requested and no vax card as promised. Yearly vax and no worming tablets offered. Had to ring to request vax card and now have to return to pick it up. They're under review as far as I'm concerned. Maybe time to move on"

"My hamster was a little under the weather so had to find a vets open on a Sunday. The receptions (I think Sam) was absolutely lovely, incredible helpful and understanding. The vet we saw was incredibly polite and gave great feedback regarding my sons hamsters health. 10/10 experience and can’t be grateful enough the team found a small slot for us to pop in on the same day. To say the appointment was made short notice on a Sunday I also found the pricing was very reasonable and not over priced at all. Brilliant vets."

"Experienced a very early morning call to the out of hours team, very friendly, re assuring on the phone, had advice on what to do and look for in our dog. Same day early appointment given we saw the same vet as the last few visits which is great, full history taken and very reassuring, supportive vet made us feel at ease, reassured our dog would be OK, well looked after and was taken straight in for his treatment. We didn't feel rushed out of the door like other establishments and the after care had been superb. Thank you so much."

"Our dog suddenly fell ill, and without going into detail, was massively let down by our regular vet. Desperate for help, I rang Hird & Partners who gave me some advice and then after several back-and-forth phone calls with his usual vet (to no avail), saw him the same night, treated him, and saw him several times within a couple of months before eventually being put to sleep. They were compassionate and helpful throughout and the vets and reception staff really seemed to genuinely care. The only regret I have is not bringing our dog here from the beginning. I cannot thank Hird & Partners enough for buying us the extra time with our beloved family pet - thank you all! Update: today we received a sympathy card from the vets - a very nice, and appreciated, touch!"
