"For 2 years and up until March 2020, we had a Tax consultant who was helpful and tried to push our case against HMRC which has been ongoing since 2016. Now our Consultant has been furloughed we've heard nothing from him until a new Consultant came on board recently who just seems to want to wrap everything up or we pay them more money and is not listening to anything we have to say. Looks like yet again HMRC have won and we lose everything and have to sell our house to pay HMRC back. Upset isn't even near how we feel at the moment."
"Providing a terrible customer experience from start to finish, Croner claim to specialise in tax consultancy, but actually specialise in a complete and utter lack of customer service. The simplest of tasks take multiple attempts, weeks to complete, and are riddled with errors. Unfortunately there seems to be company mindset which fails to recognise the fact their customers are actually human, and instead focuses on following systems over service. I wish I could find one redeeming quality of working with Croner Taxwise, but frankly it is impossible to do so. Avoid at all costs."

"We're a small accountancy practice and have a practice wide tax investigation insurance policy with Croner that covers all of our clients. Included with this we get free use of the advice lines for tax, VAT, payroll, etc and we do make use of these occasionally, generally just to get confirmation that we're dealing with a situation correctly - the staff at Croner are really knowledgeable and really helpful. Our clients sometimes use the HR helpline to get advice on hiring/firing staff and employment law and they all report good experiences with the helplines too. All in all we're very happy with the service. It's simple, easy to use and good service. From our experience, clients do not appreciate being sold TII so to save ourselves some leg work and keep our clients happy we decided to absorb the cost ourselves instead of charging it out to clients. This seems to have gone down much better with our clients as they didn't like receiving letters from ourselves or Croner offering them TII."
