"I used the airport service. Good communication from drivers with colour and make of car. Turned up on time, car clean, drivers friendly and helpful. The only thing I found was that once the booking had been made it was difficult to speak to a person. There was only an automated service when you phoned."
"Tend to be very good, have used them for quite a few years now, in Leicester and, more lately, in Birmingham. Drivers are very friendly on the whole, just one or two sometimes who don't seem to know the route, take exception to your telling them the quickest way, and/or demanding extra money. Needless to say, they're usually told where to go, a very small sample of bad eggs within what is, on the whole, a very good and trustworthy taxi company. Especially grateful when, in the past on request, a Gujarati-speaking driver was dispatched to pickup my elderly mother from the train station. Always made her feel safe and welcome."
"Driver very friendly and helpful, he took me to a pharmacy. I use a walking frame and the driver even offered to go in and pick it up for me if he could. It wasn't a prescription so I had to go myself. I thought it was lovely of him to offer when we got back to the road where I live, the driver asked me which was my bungalow, so he could get as close as possible for me. I use the company regularly and normally they are very good."
"I have used ADT many times over the years, mainly for airport transfers. I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN. Last weekend was the last time I used them - since they were taken over by Take Me, they are much more difficult to communicate with and completely let us down at the weekend. Though the drivers have always been fine in the past, the call centre is difficult to get through to and I don't think the staff are interested in being helpful at all. I had requested a car seat for my baby granddaughter for a Heathrow pickup, and when they said they couldn't supply one, I asked if I could take my own in. I took this into the Loughborough office, as agreed, the day before. The driver turned up at Heathrow claiming to know nothing about it (although the office staff said he'd been told 3 times). The baby travelled home unprotected, to my horror. As we needed to drive down to London the following day, I rang early in the morning to ask to collect my seat, but discovered the office was locked all weekend. No-one was interested in helping and they all (I rang 3 times) promised me the manager would ring back but eventually they told me s/he wasn't even on duty that day! Surely a taxi firm could have sent someone in with the keys to correct THEIR mistake?? I had to make an emergency trip to Halfords to buy a new seat, and by the time we got to London, we were too late for the big family dinner and get together which was planned. We were all bitterly disappointed and I haven't even had an apology for the inconvenience caused by this firm."
"Constant booking errors although bookings were made a month in advance either booking turns up when it’s cancelled way in advance or the booking has been cancelled and not turned up, when asking the operator why booking has been removed from the system without any notice the operator tells me he has no explanation and is confused. So unprofessional. 1st time ever being let down by any taxi firm and this one has inconvenienced me to the extent my anxiety levels have hit 100. The operators are so rude don’t have a clue how to speak to customers I am very disappointed"
