"Moss Solicitors acted for me recently in the sale of my property. The person dealing with my vase was melamine, who acted very professional and diligent in all aspects of the transaction. I would therefore recombed them for any form of conveying . Robert Yorke"
"I have just used Moss Solicitors for my conveyancing and would like to recommend them especially Melanie Brockbank for her patience, timeliness and helpful responses throughout the process, very professional despite some trying times during the process. Thank you all very much for your help."
"Unresponsive to my emails regarding house sale. Makes no attempt to understand or even listen once you finally get through to someone on the phone, thats if they are not on what seems to be a perpetual lunch. Did not provide any updates on the progress of my sale. Will not be using again and have warned others looking for solicitors to avoid at all costs"
"A simple property transaction dragged put for months. I almost lost the property. My calls were ignored, and no progress was made for weeks. They asked me to deposit the purchase price and the fees to the Moss account, and still, nothing happened for 6 weeks. I had to deal with five different people for a simple transaction. The supposed experienced lady to whom my job was assigned, was the worst of all. She ignored my calls and was very reluctant to speak with me. Her excuse was that she is busy. The company management is also to blame for shambolic customer service because they should not accept new clients when they know they do not have the staff to handle them. one of the worst experiences I had in recent years. When I complained to the manager, she only sent me a form to fill in, as if they have had such cases many times before."
"My whole experience dealing with Patricia at Moss for conveyancing has been poor from start to finish. Originally dealing with her colleague through the initial enquiry I thought I was in good hands, I was then instructed she would be dealing with my house transfer going forward and it went down hill from there. She would not answer calls or emails, I would not hear from her for weeks on end when it was a very simple transfer-her response was 'well I'm working from home,' I ended up having to escalate through her line manager which worked for a short while before she ceased contacting again. The transfer was between two amicable parties living in the same house so we were in frequent contact so we were aware when items weren't sent to the other when advised they had been as excuse for delays/non-progress. It was only through this other party contacting also did the transfer progress, even though I was the one instructing and paying the bill she offered them a level of respect and speed she did not show me. A date had been suggested by Patricia for the transfer but not confirmed, even in the near two weeks leading up to the day of transfer I had not received confirmation from her that it was going to complete, she ignored my calls and emails again so I honestly did not know if it was going to happen until her secretary (who was lovely) chased her on my behalf on the day and fortunately it had been planned for that date and gone through. The house transfer was on the 18th of March, even now I have not received any paper work/confirmation it has been added to the register or if I should be receiving any further info, to which I emailed her on the 20/06/22 to enquire and to this day have not received a reply. I shall never use Moss again, please don't make the same mistake I made and look elsewhere."
