Reviews
"Very Very good school with outstanding staff, facilities and results. My children go to UCC and they love it the teachers go above and beyond to make sure the student can achieve the best. The food is superb and my children have nutritious meals every day. At my child's previous school he struggled to fit in but here he has loads friends. I understand why it is called Uppingham Community College, because it is a lovely community of friendship."
"Good school, great food, great education. Downside; the reception staff look a bit depressed/bored most of the time and misbehaved students are put down than encouraged. Other than that, decent school!"
"Well bullying isn't sorted properly, they offer counselling but never actually provide it (they seem to completely forgot/ just simply don't care about the well being of their students and treat mental health like a joke), you get put in remove for absolutely nothing and the "no blame policy" used for bullying means that the victims are blamed just as much as the bully is for them being bullied. We aren't allowed our blazers off even if we are boiling because its "against the rules" and "makes the school look scruffy" which shows that they care more about how our school looks and the image they show to others rather than the actual students. The education's pretty good but it's a school full of teenagers who have a lot of stress put on them so the social and mental aspects are just as important as the education. The school's doing their best for education despite being incredibly low on money though so i respect them for that."
"Education is good but reception staff are quite rudewith students, bullying is not taken care of and students are told to 'ignore it'. They focus more on the rates/averages of students grades rather than the students mental health which as I've seen in many students results in negative, depressive issues. ,"
"I used to go school there. Mr Towers gave us the slipper. Mr Wilkinson was the gym teacher. I think Mrs Lewis taught Art."
