"way tight around the top!"
"I walked 9 miles in a pair of Tactel Ultimate Liner Socks following the care instructions to the letter. I had blisters where i have never had blisters before which crippled me for a few days after the walk as the blisters were under the heal of my foot. Very disappointed especially when i was hoping that the 1000 mile guarantee was something to look at. It destroyed the charity walk that I was doing and even halted me half way due to the extreme pain I was in. 18 years of the military walking/running very long distances and survived with minimal injury. But 9 miles with these socks on and I am crippled."

"I find the socks amazing and have never had any problems with shrinkage. If the socks are amazing then I don't know how to describe the customer service apart from perfection. OK they sent me the wrong size but when I told them I had a charity walk the next day they had the socks couriered to me on the same day. This must have cost them a fortune yet they did it with pleasure and still insisted on apologising for the mistake. Truly truly awesome!"
"I purchased a couple of different pair of socks, both single and double layered. After carefully following the washing instructions, the double layer socks shrank tremendously. I can no longer wear them. The single layer pair started to fray only after a few weeks on the toe seem."
