"It is a very good place for an overnight stay or more. The staff is very good and supportive. This place has parking for 10 pounds only. Locality is just amazing and is very next to sophi park. Also, Cardiff castle is just 15 mins walk from here. There are good restaurants around this property and a grocery store is nearby as well."

"Friendly staff, nice and clean, comfortable beds, able to bring your own groceries and you have your own private kitchen with oven & fridge. Radiators heated the rooms very well, the one in our bedroom didnt come on but it was warm enough throughout anyway. Cardiff castle & shopping areas not too far away. Would definatley come back if I was in the area."

I appreciate that you are frustrated, but the fact is that you made the booking through AirBnB and it is they that control your money. The booking has been cancelled with us and we have no further input, having already agreed that you may be refunded 50% of what you have paid. Your only recourse therefore is to pursue this through AirBnB. It is quite wrong to blame us for this, and more especially to accuse us of being irresponsible, dishonest and unprofessional with your money. Kevin (Acting Manager SACO Cardiff)” Dear Kevin, I take it that you leave your customers to chase up refunds from AirBnB. As a frequent AirBnb user, I have never had to chase up a refund myself - this process is initiated immediately by the host which lets AirBnB know to refund the money. I cancelled this reservation on the 20th of March and I have still not received any notification from AirBnb about a refund being initiated. Regardless of who is responsible, it hardly reflects well on yourself or AirBnb that a customer has not been refunded after 6 weeks. It is also not wrong to imply unprofessionalism when your company then ignores my queries regarding the refund - at the very least you can reply to explain the situation and be proactive in helping your customer, even if this situation is out of your control. Feedback is important for any company to improve customer service - I hope you can appreciate mine. I also hope other customers do not get caught up in such a complex refund process."

"I would like to write an honest review of SACO Cardiff apartments. I booked their Cove Cathedral Road Air BnB back in November 2021 for my daughter’s graduation on the 20th July. I then cancelled the reservation early March after being promised a 50% refund (despite the fact that it is 4 months in advance you do not get a full refund). This was agreed in writing. However, SACO repeatedly ignored my messages once I cancelled the reservation (their reponse time is apparently 3 hours). Their last response to me was on the 27th of March and I can confirm no refund process has been started despite my asking again on the 8th of April. This shows the dishonest manner in which SACO Cardiff operates. They are very happy to take your money and very reluctant to give it back, despite cancelling well in advance and having the refund amount confirmed in writing. Moreover, it is incredibly unprofessional to ignore customers’ messages, and then claiming a response time of 3 hours. I hope that other customers do not experience the same treatment. Do not book with SACO Cardiff if you are unsure of your dates, if you need flexibility and if you need reliable and honest hosts."
