"Very disappointed with the accommodation, outdated, cold,not worth £280. We had a pub table and 2 computer chairs as a dining set, the blinds wouldn't open in the bedroom so they had to be pulled up or left closed,not good really when you're on the seafront ,couldn't put the heating on, no hot water,the draught through the window was ridiculous. We were charged £280 for this shocking accommodation to which we had to leave after 1 night,all we had was an apology ,no refund offered,will definitely NOT recommend these to anyone!!!"

"Nice little cottage, good location. Horrendous bed, bad Internet which we reported but they did not sort out. TV remote was very annoying as you have to press it about 20 times before the TV comes on. Huge outside light above the bedroom window gives the impression of daylight outside. Could be so much better with a new bed and some tweaks."

"Absolutely love this place! Spotless clean,amazing view and fantastic breakfasts from the hotel next door. Came last year and rebooked during our stay and did the same again this year. The view is literally amazing, overlooking the sea, the staff are wonderful and we've found them to be very helpful(walking us over so I could park my car before check in and unlocking the gates for us) breakfasts are good value for the money. Haven't encountered anything at all to complain about ( the only thing is the people upstairs but that's not Victoria Mansions fault, it's an old building so to be expected.) "This is a lovely apartment a bit big for two people. It's spotlessly clean with service available daily. We had the Ashcombe apartment which has steps everywhere, it's on 2 levels not good if you gave arthritic legs and feet. It's lovely and warm with comfortable beds. Parking is a nightmare, the website states one space for each apartment. We came back at 2 pm and parked. One hour later our car was blocked in and we became prisoners. I informed reception that we were leaving 7 am Sunday he came and had a look and it turns out that one of the cars belonged to the boss and one to the night porter I think some apartments had more than one space. It's now 8.40 Sunday morning and we're still stuck here, no sign of any movement. Moral of this story, don't be fooled by the car park, it's a trap."
