"I made a booking on the same day as my proposed stay, A flight was missed and as soon as possible (within 3hrs) contacted the premise to ask politely if a refund could be considered seeing as I was not even in the country. They held firm on their booking policy, accepted the cancellation, made the room vacant and available. NO REFUND was given. They were also contacted before this review was written to further discuss with a decision maker. Basically consider this chain to be the hotel equivalent of Ryanair."
"I had a very small but cosy, clean room and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately I was next to the stairs and could hear people up and down the stairs all night. I didn't pay very much so I got what I paid for and wouldn't be put off returning for further one night stays but for luxury this is not the place. Sweet place but needs a refurb. Staff are lovely."
"Brilliant room very clean exactly what you want if you’re looking for a low budget stay. The location was only a ten minute walk from the city centre, lots to see and do! The room was perfect size, clean, fan to keep the room cool, Netflix, lots of storage space, and comfortable bed with white clean sheets. When we arrived last night we were greeted by a wonderful receptionist, she was so friendly and super helpful with any questions we had as we haven't stayed in Newport before. Me and my partner would definitely come back if we stay again, as we loved our experience."
