"Bouncers have a superiority complex. First time visiting and won’t be back. We’d just arrived and my friend kicked out. Why? Because she had her jacket. She was left alone outside. When we asked what the problem was we were told that jackets aren’t allowed. With it being our first time here we thought there would be some leniency as we didn’t realise this was an actual compulsory rule. I spoke to multiple bouncers explaining, they had no sympathy and didn’t want to listen, every single one had an attitude problem. Two staff members were actually very understanding and helpful, and explained they didn’t understand the rules themselves…they worked in the cloak room. I asked to speak to the manager hoping to have a human conversation. USELESS! The manager has a god complex. I again, explained our situation and that it was our first time here and apologised. He told me we passed two signs and was given warnings by the bouncers but at no point did the bouncers mention it wasn’t just advisory. He spoke down to me the whole time like I was a child, he had the most unprofessional and patronising attitude…some so-called “manager”. In the end I gave in. My attempt to get listened to was about as useful as bouncers themselves. Two of my friends left and for the rest of the little time we stayed, we saw multiple people being man handled by the bouncers unnecessary when being kicked out. The whole place needs to get over itself. If they were really THAT concerned by the no-jackets-rule and it being a “security measure” they could show some decorum and be able to have a decent conversation, or even better they could have actual security measures like bag checks."
"I have never been to this establishment, but the other night I ate a subway. This man called me Jeremy when my name is actually John. Then that night, when I was sleeping, I dreamt that I was in this club and I got thrown out because my left shoe lace wasn't tied. Preposterous behaviour. Won't be going here again."
"I am 5,4 and was thrown about by about 5 of the bouncers thrown out the fire exit doors because I have a tall bf and he was able to touch the ceiling, after been thrown into the metal doors was also pushed close to concrete wet stair case then when the bouncers realised I was recording I was chased and threatened to be pushed down the stairs. Only good thing going for them is the cheap drinks"
"If you try and ignore the fact that its mostly full of teenagers then they actually play decent music in here that you can have a dance to and the drinks are the cheapest I've ever known in a nightclub."
"Paid money to get in to only get dragged (and I mean physically dragged by my jacket) out by a bouncer a few seconds later for not putting my jacket in my bag. Couldn’t even go back in to tell friends I was being kicked out. Worst bouncer I have ever met and I will never go back. Absolute set of idiots working on the doors. Stay well clear!"
