"DON'T buy a bed from Bensons. I'm not sure where all these high scores come from but my experience of Bensons for Beds is that their service is absolutely shocking. I won't bore you with every detail, but in a nutshell. 1. Initial order not supplied on delivery day because they hadn't got the base. We were told on the day of delivery. 2. Mattress when delivered was shockingly uncomfortable. After 40 days it was checked and the mattress failed. Not enough padding. Seriously if your only job is to make a mattress how can you fail to do that. 3. A replacement mattress has been ordered - delivery has been pushed back again and again. 4. Problems always blamed on the 'manufacturer'... Bensons For Beds owns Staples the manufacturer. 5. Original mattress order 17th September 2022. Current delivery date of replacement mattress... 22nd March. I've been waiting for a comfortable mattress now for 5 months! I still have one more month to wait IF and it's a big if, they don't push back delivery. DO NOT buy from Bensons for Beds"
"Fantastic staff - could not have asked for a better welcome to the store, a better intro to their options, or a lower-pressure buying process. That being said, I expected to have more options available for the actual products. While there were dozens, there were some I adored that were not available in other fabrics, finishes, or with particular storage options. Didn't stop us buying a product we really liked with Elizabeth's help!"
"No acknowledgement when I went into the shop. Went upstairs for a while to look around. Nothing from the sales assistant. Went downstairs and she was on Tindr or something. Left as she was dismissive and not bothered in the slightest in arguing me. Sat behind the desk the whole time. This was on 26.08.22 16:30"
