"Shakespeare Park is a relatively small park close to the old village of Braunstone, mentioned in the Domesday Book. Now surrounded by 1930's housing. The park is home to a football pitch, tennis courts and a the Shakespeare Park Bowls Club. There are no facilities but there is kiddies play area. The area is maintained by Braunstone Town Council."
