"I come here fairly regularly, and shopping here is always a great experience. The availability of products is always very consistent, and for a small store they have a wide selection of products for different types of Asian cooking. The prices are also very reasonable for things such as fresh vegetables, frozen goods, cooking ingredients, snacks and beverages. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and helpful, and will help you to find the things that your looking for. Occasionally they've also helped me with my bag if I'm buying something large or heavy (such as one of the 10kg bags of rice!) The premises is always tidy, well presented and on the door there is an automatic sensor which sets off a bird chirping sound as you walk in. I don't know why, but I always look forward to hearing those bird sounds! I definitely recommend coming here and having a look around!"

"Chinese supermarket on Albany road with a wide variety of Asian foods and products. Tidy, well stocked and laid out with clear prices. Not cheap and can get expensive very quickly if you're buying a lot, but it's comparable with other Asian supermarkets I've visited. Worth a visit"

"Fantastic Asian grocery store in Cardiff with very kind owners! They have almost the whole range of very famous brands of Asian food. Fresh, good quality and a relatively reasonable price compared to others. The owners are super helpful, they will try their best to help you with the stuff you want, and they are very happy to recommend some snacks or whatever to you if you fancy trying something new. Five-star suggestion to pop into this lovely store to explore some DELICIOUS Chinese /Asian food!!"

"My dream pantry is at least 80% South East Asian ingredients: saving 20% for pasta and pickles. So when a new Asian Food Store opens within walking distance, I am all over it! Albany Road’s new ‘EASY Asian Food Store’ has been open a few weeks now and fully stocked with foods from China, Thai Land, Vietnam, Korea, Japan and Indonesia: everything from instant noodles, sauces, spices, fizzy drinks, dumplings, bao buns to Lay’s cucumber crisps! (Seriously - and the first thing I’m trying!) I lived in Indonesia for nearly 3 years, so there is no way I’m leaving this shop without a stock pile of Indomie (btw, white packet is always the best!) Indomie Tip: ignore the instructions and never add the seasonings to boiling water, but fry them with the sachet of oil before adding the pre-boiled noodles: it’s the indo-way, it’s the only way!! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff who not only helped me around the shelves looking for the best sesame sauce but also waved me goodbye for what was nearly the length of the street!! Very very very clean shop and all the shelves are organised into a beautiful fashion! A must visit for all noodle lovers!!"
