"Availability is great with screwfix, but always let down by the staff. Go back to the old business model with paper catalogues. I placed an order online for some goods for my business (which I do regularly). Came into collect and asked if I could order some additional items. Only to be told by the member of staff (Bald Head and Glasses) “Well you will have to go off and get me the code”. He then turned the computer screen round, gave me the mouse and keyboard before walking off to serve someone else. On ALL of my previous experiences with Screwfix, ESPECIALLY for business clients such as myself, the sales person behind the counter would always look to find the product we are looking for. It would be great to have retail assistance with some sort of DIY knowledge but I totally understand that with your vast product portfolio and even wider customer base would make this impossible. However, rudeness and bone idol laziness is the basics of any retail professional. I don’t like working on a Sunday, but their is no logical reason for bad customer service in a customer facing environment."
