"I recently had my hair coloured and cut. I showed many images of what i wanted and the hair stylist said this was no problem. I asked for dark brown highlights in my already black hair. I ended up with blonde/yellow streaks in my hair after toner. I was very upset but felt too scared to say so. The total came to over £100 including a cut, which was barely noticeable. I left the salon and immediately dyed my hair with box dye, as i didn’t want anyone to see how i looked, and messaged the salon to voice my concerns the next day. I did not receive a reply until weeks after, saying they were not able to rectify my hair or offer a discounted price. i was appalled at the quality of this salon. Spend your money elsewhere"

"Probably the worst salon I’ve ever been too. You would think given the gorgeous exterior and interior this salon would be great, however the experience, the hair colour and hair cut I received was appalling. You have a consultation, a patch test etc as per any normal salon, which I did and was thorough with my stylist on the colour I wanted and shown her 3-4 different images, all was fine and not a problem but not once did I get shown any colours. On the day of my appointment, again wasn’t shown any colour which I didn’t really mind as I thought the stylist knew what I wanted, come the end of my appointment my hair was dark brown (it was meant to be ginger / copper), I had the smallest amount taken off my hair (hair cut cost around £50/£60?) and just didn’t even look like I’d had it cut and for the fact I’ve paid £152 in total (have short/medium hair), I didn’t once get treatment such as olaplex etc which you’d typically expect at this price, all I wanted to do was burst out crying when she dried my hair. At this point, it was closing time and the salon was very quiet with about 6 stylists all gathered around their bench so when the receptionist asked if I liked the hair, I just agreed because l I was too anxious to say anything. Fast forward the next day when we spoke to SAM, we were given the options or a refund or to come into the salon to rectify the issue by having another colour. At this point, because my hair was badly done, going back in wasn’t an option so I opted for the refund, which was offered in the first place, but then got denied it. I sent paragraphs of evidence showing this wasn’t what I wanted, very very clear they’re two different colours, talking about how going back in would give me anxiety and all was ignored by SAM, not once apologetic or wanted to give me another option despite giving me options in the first place. When my partner spoke to SAM on the phone, she said the colour I wanted was ‘unique’ which again was never advised in consultation, but hardly because it’s a trend at the minute and I also came in with light hair so don’t see how this is possible to not get right? This has taken 2 weeks so far and is still on going and the salon don’t seem to want to come to a conclusion that wood satisfy both. Don’t go back on your word and don’t be an advocate for world mental health day when it comes round, because you’ve proven yourself as a salon what situations you would put your paying customers in. There’s no way to rectify the colour I have at the minute from this dark brown into the copper, and I wouldn’t trust them to do it again. Wouldn’t recommend, the business has bad ethics and id spend your money elsewhere. Do better and admit to your mistakes."
