"So much time of mine was wasted when doing my car Mot. Firstly they said come back in 2hrs, I waited longer and still wasn’t done. Told to come back in an hour, waited longer still not done. Told to come back at 7pm, ring them half 6 and find out won’t be til next day afternoon. The next day turned out to be 7pm. The main boss man is pretty rude and I will never take my car there again. So much frustration caused and they could’ve lessened it by letting me know they’d have my car for 24hrs+ instead of multiple wasted visits."

"I called late Friday afternoon hoping for a quick book in and I was delighted that I was booked in the next morning for 11.30am for an MOT while you wait. Sam is friendly, quick and super helpful. "If you need an MOT in Cardiff just go to Sam's MOT testing center, accept no substitute. He has been testing my Japanese cars for years, its a bargain at 40 pounds with free retest, he does a good job and does not take all day, if your car is fine he will pass it. He won't invent stupid fails just to make extra money. He is a great guy to be around and will explain things well, he also strives to get you the best repair (if you need one) for the money. The only negative reviews are cars that Sam has tested but then something like the cambelt broke and that's the responsibility of the owner to check so don't try to blame it on the person that checks your car is safe on the road. An Mot is not a servicing. Just go to Sam and you won't regret, I got mine today for my hoda. 1 advisory as the front wheels are loosing treat but passed. And in a very, friendly and timely manner. Also if you really need an MOT this is probably the one that stays open the longest. It's discraceful that people are blaming an honest MOT tester on their own negligence to service their own car properly. Just go to Sam and he will sort you out at the best price guaranteed."

"Was sold a 2nd hand car for £995, that had not been checked and broke down soon after purchase with my family inside. One of the many problems was there had been no oil put in it, this is by a man who runs an MOT centre! The mechanic who towed us was shocked at this and the multiple other undisclosed problems the car was sold with. We were given a 3 door car to borrow, it is totally unsuitable and not like for like. Over six months later, still no refund or replacement car. Now there is no communication at all from the garage. Unprofessional, dangerous and I feel totally ripped off. We are now left in a situation where we cannot afford to buy another car and have since had to cancel some work due to having an unsuitable vehicle and will be unable to go on holiday with our family this Summer as there is no room for camping equipment in the borrowed car. SAM MOT is just after making money and is at best negligent and at worst criminal."
