"I have never had such a frustrating experience as the one I’ve recently had attempting to make my purchase successful from Crown DIY. After waiting a week, with no sign of my order, I sent two emails and also rang twice over the space of another three days. I was initially told that it had been dispatched, then later, that a replacement was being sent out as the first one must have got lost. They asked to be contacted if that one should turn up. After a ten day wait a parcel finally arrived. On opening the said parcel the box displayed the correct tap, inside however it was the wrong tap. The hose attachment, shower head and bracket were in the box but the tap was a bath filler not the bath shower mixer tap I had ordered. Now begins another round of frustration trying to get a replacement and the wrong one returned. Should Crown DIY excel at this then I’ll gladly provide a fitting review. UPDATE: I have to hand it to Crown DIY for pulling it out of the bag. After the initial contact about receiving the wrong tap I got a little concerned at not hearing anything further. I needn’t have worried as on Monday morning, after the weekend, a van from Kartell pulled up outside and they personally delivered the correct tap and collected the one sent in error. An excellent five star service."
