"Seems half empty. The man on the checkout was very pleasant and made a hilarious joke about being an Indian god with many arms because he had been given so many jobs"
"My Son was just in the Bradford Wilko Store because I had asked him to go get me some things (because I have mobility problems) and the Shipley store has now closed when he was told to leave the store, they actually took the items off him but my Son had convinced them to let him pay for them and leave, he was on the phone to me but I had to call him back and I told him to leave the things as I would never buy from Wilko again!!! I cannot believe how they treated my Son who is a 2nd year A level student and will going to University in September. What an absolute disgrace the Wilko staff are for treating my Son like a criminal when all he was trying to do was to help his disabled Mum out!"
"First visit to this branch. I parked in a street nearby as they do not have their own car park. It's a clean, well-lit store which stocked everything I wanted. I was especially pleased to find one cleaning item that B&M no longer stock, which a friendly assistant took me to after I enquired. I filled my trolley full of quite heavy household items and some bags of Wilko's own-brand excellent mixed birdseed, fat balls etc., so essential for my garden birds during this icy spell. At checkout I was impressed by a young man called Sham who went out of his way to help me. After paying for my goods he put the heavy trolleyfull in a safe area and escorted me to the door where he indicated where I could bring my car to load it up. Not only that, Sham pointed out that there's a phone number on my receipt which he would personally answer if I rang it and waited outside by my car, when he would bring the trolley to me and help me load everything into the boot! I asked Sham if he was the store manager; he said he was not. He is a very kind man who said he loves to help people. He said it makes him happy. He certainly made my day!"
"The type of store where you end up buying twice as much as you intended as so many bargains to be found. This particular store is not the easiest to get in and out of. Stairs and escalators everywhere, but prices and staff are great."
"Nice place. Cheap sometimes. Good staff. City center nearby. Highly Recommend."
