"This company still hasn't completed my repair 10 months later as still waiting for parts. There has been no sense of urgency when I've called repeatedly"
"My car was dented by another party. Their insurer sent me to Halo. The nearest date they could do was in 3 months time. I accepted this but was surprised was such a long wait. The week the car was due to go in for repair (3 months after original accident) they called me to say they were behind and the nearest date they could do was another 3 months time! Based on this I can’t rate their repair but I am rating them based on customer service and waiting time. Even when they phoned me to rearrange the date they put me on hold while they “checked availability”… surely if you are phoning a customer to rearrange their appointment you would have the diary open with a couple of options to offer to them. Putting them on hold when you’ve called them is odd customer service model. Madness"
"Had an accident in my car my insurance company put me through Halo they phoned me up and arranged to pick up my car and leave a courtesy car, at a time to suit me. Had car back on the Friday all repairs completed and to a very high standard. Very quick and easy ,and all done with in a week of accident. Very impressed with their service professionalism and how friendly they were."
"AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! My car has been to HALO Cardiff 3 times to repair a wing dent - still not satisfied with the repair. 1st Repair Feb Thurs 18th returned within 24 hours Fri 19th Feb - Paint wrong colour and still wet, swage lines rounded, bits in paint that when removed took the paint with it, full of filler, runs in the paint, raw paint edge under the arch of bumper, bits in the paint on the bumper and the bonnet. Car rejected and taken straight back! 2nd Repair Taken back 19th Feb returned Tues 23rd Feb - Paint colour better but still wet and the blend line into previously painted door was extremely visible (as wrong colour used to paint the door the first time, runs and paint build up, swage lines still not correct, bits in the paint on the bumper and bonnet again, filler of some kind rubbed off onto opposite side of the car ???. Rejected the car again but kept as advised by the insurance company as they were getting a field engineer to inspect the car. Field Engineer viewed the vehicle on 25th Feb and agreed with all of our concerns and said if it was his personal choice he wouldn't give them a 3rd chance but to get it done and get the lifetime guarantee they should correct it. He raised the report which highlighted everything and noted that a new wing had to be purchased and all the other issues to be resolved. The vehicle was worked on for the 3rd time between 14th and 21st May . When I arrived at HALO Cardiff my husband and I could immediately see the blend line was still there along with a few other brighter white patches on the door. I went into reception and said to Tracey that it wasn't looking good, her response was "well they won't be doing it again!!" We asked Dan, the manager, for a squeegee and cloth so that we could wipe the rain off and inspect the work thoroughly and he was very shirty. He stated to me 3 times that the whole door had been painted that week but if that was the case how were the blend lines from the 2nd repair still visible along with 3 brighter white patches ?? funnily enough the brighter white patches are where there were runs/blemishes in the paint and it appears that only touch up/spot repairs were carried out (he said there were photos to prove the whole door had been painted but he couldn't show them to me as they belonged to Ageas Insurance and the person i was dealing with at Ageas would have access to them (Ageas did not know what he was on about) One good thing was that the paint was dry, Dan said that was because they had used the really expensive stuff that they only normally use on Mercedes!! Dan was also adamant that he couldn't see any colour differences in the door, that it was out of his hands there was nothing else he could do as it had been signed off by Field Inspector as being satisfactory. Since speaking to Ageas, I now have to take the vehicle to a few different places and get reports and costs to get it rectified, then they can look at paying for it to be done again. Not bad for an accident that wasn't even my fault and not even through my insurance."
