"Haven't used the cafe as it was shut but it looked beautiful. I used the service upstairs for my wedding. Adele was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would like to pop into the cafe one time when I'm passing!"
"Underwhelming! Cheap jelly not jam. Tiny sandwiches, weak tea, awful coffee, and a miserable young woman running the place who was borderline rude to two different couples that enquired after a table. Would benefit from some background music as it's very quiet in there. Such a shame as it could be lovely."
"I went for afternoon tea. The sandwiches and cakes were fab and a generous amount. Clotted cream lemon curd and strawberry jam to go with light as air scones. Good choice of teas or coffee if preferred."
"Lovely little tearoom but giving it 3 stars because I ordered the bacon sandwich with cheese which was £4.45. I asked if it was served hot, she said yes, but would I like it toasted. I replied that would be lovely. When I got my bill, I found I had been charged £5.95, I asked why and she said because I had it toasted! I pointed out that was an extra £1.50 just to have it toasted and she didn't tell me it would be extra. She just shrugged her shoulders and said, "that's the price of a toastie" Unbelievable! What poor service."
"This is a cute cafe in a quiet village. Attentive staff, nicely decorated but the afternoon tea seemed a little scrimped on. I attended a baby shower on Sunday that the cafe hosted privately. They were very accommodating but food quality lacked a little. Over all a pleasant experience."
