"Very decent cafe! clean and modern and food was spot on. Will defo be coming back. 100% recommend!"
"A cosy little place... Called in for a takeaway today, breakfast bap (cob, barm or whatever you want to call it) was my meal of choice. The open-style kitchen was clean and well organised. The rustic charm of the dining area made me smile with warmth (this is added warmth to the hot weather) which was very well presented. The food - well I'll take each component here... Bap - Soft and fresh, maybe a bit too fresh for baked beans. Became soggy when introduced to bean juice. Sausage - lovely texture and well cooked. Full of flavour. Mushrooms - well cooked, although didn't taste buttery. This may be my personal preference as I love my shrooms cooked in butter. I do understand the price of butter may not make this feasible. Beans - Standard baked beans, nothing fancy. Bacon - This was the only thing I can really fault. Some people love thick, juicy bacon. This is what you get here. It just doesn't work on a bap. The issue is that once you bite into it, the bacon dragged out some mushrooms and beans. Slightly too salty for my taste - but I prefer smoked bacon. My suggestion would be to keep a small quantity of smoked back bacon and/or streaky for sandwiches. Egg - wonderfully cooked, the yolk popped and dribbled down my chin, the way it should be! This place gets 4 stars, a bit more choice on bacon preference is my only real issue. A well run place by friendly staff. The price is very reasonable, I can't wait to sit in next time and get the full experience"
"WOW.... what a lovely looking café. It is clear to us the owner has spent a lot of time making sure the look and feel is just right. My advice, check out the long crusty baguettes they do tasty!!"
