Reviews
"Nice refreshing pint, good friendly staff"
"Very good atmosphere, small but quaint."
"Nice local bar. Good beer"
"They have beer by Ilkley Brewery and one called Mary Jane, both of which are very nice and priced around the £3.50 mark. They also have Sky Sports, which is a major plus for footy fans. The interior is dated but comfortable. Its a small pub but there's plenty of seating and tables, along with some seating outside too. There's a car park, which I don't think is strictly for pub patrons but I can't see anyone arguing with you about it, unless of course there's a function going on in the hall at the side of the pub. The main thing letting the pub down is the miserable demeanour of the staff. Subjective opinion I know, but one shared by all the people I know who have been there. If they were just a bit friendlier and welcoming it would feel like a 100% improvement. Hasn't stopped me from going in, mind..."
"About as friendly as a nest of vipers. The same for the Christmas carols service, talk about no room at the Inn and being unwelcome ."
