Reviews
"Very well presented second chance clothing and other bits and bobs! Prices are reasonable and I got some bargin designer gear :)"
"Quite remarkably told to leave the shop with my donations because the 'gentleman' in charge informed me I hadn't booked in. Apparently I was being aggressive when I asked why he couldn't take it now as the shop was empty. The are plenty of charity shops. I'll take my donations and custom to where it will be appreciated."
"Up until last week they were selling books for 50p, which was an excellent deal, and made it well worth digging through their disorganised book collection. Then they decided to double the price, obviously without making any effort to improve the presentation. Now don't get me wrong, £1 for a second hand book is still relatively cheap (although it's worth noting that many of their books are in tatty condition). But it's no longer a deal worth going out of your way for. Plenty of other places (often with much better selection and presentation) that will sell you a book for £1, and still a few that will do it for 50p. Other than the books, there really is nothing to recommend this place."
"Husband went in to donate goods and was told they accept nothing but bedding and books. Our donations included quite a few new items that weren't as such (brand new shoe storage, brand new hall mat, bathroom shelving with hooks etc all which could have been sold). There were also other household items in very good condition. Such a shame as I am sure they would have raised quite a bit of cash for such a worthy cause."
