"I stayed in the rooms above. I cannot recommend the place enough. My work had messed up my booking, meaning I booked here at the very last minute and my allowance of £25 was carried over as I arrived super late. They spoiled me. Gave me a bottle of wine as I missed a night of food to take home for the Mrs. The food was some of the best food I have ever had, especially the lamb.... Honestly. I will come back just to eat and I'm over 3hrs away. Many thanks."
"Been eating here for many many years and once again it didn’t disappoint. Warm welcome, good service, delicious food & generous portion. Tempura prawns were large with delicious dipping sauce. Veal was beautifully cooked, tender & plentiful. Irish coffee was perfect to finish the meal …. Piping hot & you could sure taste the whiskey. Excellent all round. Would highly recommend."
