"Such a pretty and lovely place combining Indian Street food with a modern mix! The customer service was excellent. The servers went out of their way to explain each dish as I was taken back by the variety of options. The food itself was delicious and full of taste and flavour! I really enjoyed my time here as someone who isn't from Leicester everything, down to the customer service, was amazing to my surprise. Would 100% recommend!"

"Received a warm welcome upon entering the restaurant, and were seated quickly. Good selection of items on the menu, the food itself was tasty too with some updated versions on classic vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately there was an issue with our order but the waiting staff worked quickly to resolve this for us, so overall a great dining experience, would re-visit and recommend. 5*"

"Bobby's has a great ambiance - the colour scheme, flooring, table layout, sweet deli, chaat counter and everything else. The staff members are kind and welcoming. The menu is varied with chats, south Indian dishes, Gujarati delicacies, breads, rice, Indo-Chinese, drinks and desserts. Of course everything is vegetarian but they offer a myriad of gluten free and vegan dishes as well. The service is swift and we family of 4 with an order of 3 course meal each were done within 40 minutes. Despite all that, the food which should have been the real show stopper given the settings, was actually quite disappointing. Indian food is known for its strong flavours and here at Bobby’s there were no flavours at all. Pani puri was sweet, special chaat was too sweet, chole bhature was completely bland, haka noodles were sweet and the Mumbai sandwich was filled with bland potatoes and cheese. The real disappointment was the masala tea, which tasted like hot water infused with cinnamon. Comparing Bobby’s to the other restaurants around - ChaiPaani, Chaiwala, Shiv Sagar - it is quite average. The sweet takeaway from the deli however is quite good. Every sweet has a distinct flavour. I do not have a sweet tooth though so it’s not something I particularly devoured. Since they have recently renovated/extended their premises I hope they do plan on revising their flavours as well."

"One of the best places for vegetarian food in Leicester, I loved the wide range of choices on the menu. Just look how delicious the photos below look. My favourite was the samosa chaat, which they brought out quickly. I enjoyed this meal very much and hope to come back soon"

"Great Indian restaurant in the heart of Leicester. Vegetarian and vegan food. Great food. Has a wide range of food. You can ask the level of spicy that you want. Also has very nice desserts that you can even order for take away. Very nice decoration . Long history restaurant, nearly 40 years. Medium low price. Ideal for going on a date, with friends or with family."
