"In 2017 at the age of 68 I found myself in a very dark place. I was stuck in a situation that I could see no end to and no light at the end of the tunnel. A close friend of mine recommended a counselling service that she had experience of. I contacted them and a appointment was made. I went to my first session full of apprehension, as I had never done anything like this before. I count myself very lucky to find Lauren had been assigned to be my counsellor. I found myself completely at ease, and I opened up immediately Over the coarse of the next few months, I attended weekly sessions with Lauren.
