"Food is okay but overpriced. We spent 132€ for a sirloin beef, vegan Wellington, 2 beers and a glass of wine. And honestly we don’t think it worth it, food was simple. Anyway, we booked a reservation at this restaurant because of the view to the Tower Bridge, which is really impressive. The waiter was fabulous and it is nice that they have a heating system outdoors so we could enjoy the view and the drinks."
"It was OK. I've had better steaks in so many different places. Unfortunately they were out of steaks feom the board, so I ordered the 350g ribeye from the menu. The pepper corn source was way to runny and flavourless. So bad. It was like a watered down version of bisto. The sticky toffee pudding was again just OK. I like my stp with vanilla ice cream but this came with a dollop of cream. You can really taste the bourbon so if you're not a fan of alcohol then not the best choice. Service was great and food was out in good time. Never felt like we were waiting for our food."
"Nice venue, nice food, the starter that I had was tasty, we opted for Sunday roasts (Beef & lamb shank) for our main course which was really good.. the only letdown was the potatoes which tastes slightly old. Oh, and the cocktails packed a punch also!!"
"LOW QUALITY NOT RESTAURANT QUALITY- 2 ladies out for lunch, I was asking the waiter how much should we order per person. They recommended 400g of Rib eye. We could only finish half of it :)) so poor advice to start with. The steak inside looked like it was boiled not properly cook. Meat quality is terrible !!!!! Tough and cold, similar to a pub style not restaurant quality that's for sure. Wine is okay, bread is too crusty and lack of flavour . Creamed spinach is okay, not that great, small portion. I tried the bone marrow sauce, not sure if white floaty bit is the marrow ... but it was cold, and I felt like eating lard ))...Adding donation to Ukraine to my bill. Not that I am opposed to it BUT I want to be informed. What charity do you use ? how will you send the money ? etc etc...but saying nothing and just add that to our bill is low and unprofessional. Feel like we were scammed. The great view of Tower Bridge couldn't keep us from feeling disappointed."
"Great lunch somewhat marred as my fillet steak was overcooked. I asked for medium rare and they brought medium. I sent it back and they had another try. Still cooked too much but i ate it as Georgina had neatly finished her rib-eye! Brilliant bottle of mendoza malbec too! To start I had roasted bone marrow and snails which was excellent. Georgina had the seafood salad which sounded good but they served it on a cold crumpet! For dessert we shared sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brulee. Yum. PS. They didn't charge for the fillet steak, which was good of them. We will return but when the weather is better as it rained the whole day."
