"We walked here across the fields from Great Chalfield. A nice walk. You can’t go in the house, in fact it doesn’t look like there is anything in there. But it looks good from the outside. Entrance staff very good. You can even borrow picnic blankets if you fancy sitting down for a while and having your lunch. The gardens are lovely. Lots of little ‘rooms’. Lots of beautiful planting and tree specimens."
"A delightful, National Trust owned, garden since 1943, with a romantic house called The Courts from around 1720. The house is unavailable for the public, apart one room at the back of property where you can find a tea room. The garden is rather on small side but full of interesting things such as lily pond, arboretum, sundial, orchard, temple, topiary. There are two car parks on opposite side of the garden, first one with limited space, second one modern and spacious."
"The Courts Garden is small but perfectly formed. One of my favourite gardens with lily ponds, attractive flower beds and an orchard. The tea room is closed but there is a refreshment unit serving basic fare. Take a picnic and enjoy the garden."
"Beautiful gardens, lovely house but not open. Small area at rear of garden to by drinks/ snacks. Great place to picnic. Relaxing place away from everything stressful. Located in a interesting village which is worth a look around."
"Great little place with fantastic varied gardens. No parking on site, but plenty of parking at the parish hall opposite. House is not open to the public and the tea rooms had limited offers due to staff shortage. Overall a pleasant visit."
