"Nice play area for 12year olds and under. Quite muddy when it’s been raining but it’s all new and shiny at the moment and all the new play-area equipment is great for the wee ones. It is built on a few levels and the whole family can walk up. It may be difficult for wheelchair access and sadly it didn’t appear to have any wheelchair accessible play-area equipment or attractions. If it’s been raining - and remember it is located Scotland - then get the kids to wear their wellies."
"Great spot for families to park up and have a walk. It's usually quite muddy so just becareful under foot. There's a odd bench to sit and wait the swans and picnic bench. Small car park free of charge, great park for the kids just opened and a decent pub just across the way for food afterwards if u fancy it called The boathouse. The pub is dog friendly too and has large car park and outside eating area too."
"Good size car park and very well built kids play area suitable for kids of all ages. Water in the quarry was frozen and was a side activity for kids to throw ice on. Kids play area is fenced so you are comfortable that kids will stay in their area and not go near water without your knowledge."
"New swing park. Free parking. Nice walks"
"Great place for climbing with range of trad grades l, beware of loose rock on Trundle slab and on Promontory Direct! With new play park will be great for kids and also paddle boarding and canoing is available on the water!"
