Tobacco Factory Market Raleigh Road, Southville, Bristol BS3 1TF
About the Business
Welcome to the Tobacco Factory Market, located in the heart of Bristol's vibrant Southville district. Situated within the historic Tobacco Factory building, our market is a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
Step inside and you'll discover a vibrant hub of local businesses and creative traders, selling everything from handmade crafts to delicious street food. Our market is open every Sunday from 10am to 2.30pm, and offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can browse at your leisure and discover something new.
The Tobacco Factory itself has a fascinating history, having originally been built in the early 1900s as a factory for the W.D. & H.O. Wills tobacco company. It was saved from demolition in the 1990s and has since been transformed into a thriving arts and cultural space, housing a theatre, bar, café and more.
At the market, you'll find a diverse range of stalls selling everything from vintage clothing to handmade jewellery, locally grown produce to sweet treats. Take a break from shopping and enjoy a delicious lunch from one of our street food vendors, or grab a coffee from our café and soak up the atmosphere.
The market is also a great place to discover new talent and support local artists and designers. We regularly host pop-up events and showcases, giving up-and-coming creatives a platform to showcase their work.
Whether you're looking for a unique gift, some tasty treats, or just a relaxed Sunday stroll, the Tobacco Factory Market is the perfect destination. We can't wait to welcome you!

Reviews
"We visited the market, Five Acres Farm Shop and the Cafe Bar. The market had a selection of food, jewellery, pottery and art stalls. All very good and a little different from the high street shops. The farm shop, again, stocks items that you might not necessarily find in the supermarket. For example, no shortage of fruit and vegetables. We ate a nice vegan meal in Cafe Bar, in my case a particularly tasty mushroom wellington. A very worthwhile place to while away a couple of hours on a Sunday."
"Great ambience, brill Sunday market. Quiz night on Wednesdays fun."
"This is a great place to drink, eat and have fun. I visited meanwhile a jazz festival was playing, but I can go back to the store which sells local products, or to the restaurant which offers good drinks and food. Also, the place is charming, how they have rescued an ancient building to transform it into a trading and cultural center."
"Great little market which is open on Sundays from around 10am-2pm. There are a variety of food stalls (hot and cold foods), local produce and handmade crafts. I parked on the Aldi car park next door as the surrounding streets all seemed to be full"
"It’s a good activity to visit this Sunday Farm market with your family and friends, lots of different handmade food and accessories. My favourite food is the Jerk chicken wrap (you can see which Jerk chicken food stand in the photos), delicious, big portion with reasonable price."
