"An Airigh is a beautiful, clean and comfortable house in a lovely village only an hour and a half away from Glasgow (but feels so much further). I was there for only four days but I wish I’d stayed for longer as it’s such a peaceful oasis. Unlike many holiday lets I’ve been to, the kitchen is really well laid out with practical things you need to cook (a variety of tefel and non tefel pans, lots of cutlery, Tupperware and all the basics to start you off with like some spices and tea towels etc). Amanda is an excellent property manager, easy to speak to, incredibly kind and very quick to reply to all questions. I was also lucky enough to book in some treatments with Suzie, which I highly recommend. She’s pure magic. An Airigh is a truly special place and I can’t wait to come back."
"We stayed with our family, 2 adults, three kids of age 8, 6 and 5 and four grandparents (~70 years) for one week in Hazelbank in February. Our stay was a great pleasure. The place is spacious, luxourous and well equiped. The garden is well maintained and large. There is a pier in front of the house where you can have sea-side BBQ when the weather is a bit better. The beds are great and the showers are warm. Everything is designed nicely and quite new. Although the weather was by times chilly, the heating was more than fine including the two wood stoves in the house. The views ware more than great, from the living room, dinner room and the sleeping rooms in the front. I very much recommend to stay at this place. Please note that two bedrooms share one ensuite bathroom and the other three bedrooms share one bathroom what was fine for our group but perhaps not for 5 couples? For you to decide but that is the only thing I can think of not to go for a rent!"
"Spent a lovely weekend with friends at 2 Planetree in Lochgoilhead. The cottage has recently been refurbished to a really high standard and it is welcoming and cosy. The rooms at the front of the house have fantastic views over the loch as does the elevated hot tub in the garden. The perfect place to chill out and enjoy the views and Scottish weather!! The kitchen is well equipped and will have everything you need if you plan to cook. The cottage is a short stroll into the village and there are plenty of activities near by to keep you busy. Overall a lovely weekend away and would definitely recommend a stay at Planetree."
"We stayed at 2 Planetree in Lochgoilhead. It's a wonderful cottage in a fantastic location! The hot tub is bliss with amazing views across the loch and the mountains beyond. Accommodation is very comfortable, cosy and well stocked. Lovely to wake up to incredible scenery every morning from your window. Can't recommend it highly enough!"
"We spent a week at Fyne Byre earlier this month and can't speak highly enough about the cottage and Sam and Ian, who stay on the farm next door. The cottage is beautifully equipped with everything you need and to have Sam and Ian, next door, but never intrusive, with advice for days out and good tips, was a real bonus. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it felt like you were staying with good friends! The area is outstanding in terms of landscapes and activities, with incredible views of Loch Fyne nearby, not to mention Loch Awe and Lock Eck! There is a selection of restaurants nearby and the Inver Restaurant is a real experience to savour. Would recommend this place even more, but would rather not, just in case too many people try booking it, before we can get back which we intend to do very soon. The whole experience left us feeling recharged and refreshed and thanks once again to our hosts!!"
