"Emailed for a qoute for some average wood you can pick up in any place (3x3 posts) - 1.8m, bread and butter of the timber world. Simply got an email back saying we don't do quotes. No apology, or explanation, could even be bothered to sign the email. I replied asking how am I supposed to find a price to buy this timber. Got an email saying sorry we don't do these products you require. I replied saying well how about some alternative lengths perhaps hoping they could offer something else. Instead just ignored."
