"Set up an account a few months back as I had an extension job in Keynsham. I will now solely use this guys for building projects as they are much more helpful than the bigger building merchants. Feels very personal and they aim to please, are very friendly also, all the yard stuff talk and have a laugh and it seems to be a good working environment. They will also price match and more often then not, beat others!"
"Avoid at all cost. Bought and confirmed they had on site 8x2 and 4x2 timber x 16. When I went to collect it for my loft conversion starting 2 days later, they had sold all my 8x2. Luckily I was able to get some from selco for same price as I paid CRS 2 weeks prior and prices are going up weekly. No sincere apology or compensation for their "mistake" which could have delayed the work. Also the 6x2 were actually half inch short and they are already in roof and I need 50mm air gap and 100mm celotex so I'm 10mm short. I told them twice and they said they would call back both times to rectify but never bothered. our family business is property development and renovation so we spend a fair amount on materials. We Will never use CRS keynsham again and have advised our friends and associates to do the same. How can any business sell your timber ( I bought it because they confirmed having stock onsite ) and cut half inch less than 6 inches for the one they did supply. CRS, you have lost more than 1 customer and money. Avoid avoid avoid"
"Some nice people and accessible nice big warehouse - but really for trade mainly, because retail customers/general public cant see any pricing until you get to the counter and it depends if they decide to give you a discount or not and how much. So its a little like a lottery depending on your demeanour or smile? - although some prices do seem great others seem average."
