"Good fun day out"
"It's hard to rate this place as it is showing its age and needs a good lick of paint and repairs done in numerous areas. They don't ask people to remove outdoor shows before entering the changing area so they get grubby quickly. Entry price has come down a little which is good. Charge you £2 to get a locker token, you get £1 back if you return it. Toilet areas very clean and well maintained. Lots of changing cubicles out of order or damaged. All slides were working and they stand up well still, enjoyed by me and 8 year old. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. If they run around with a paint brush and do some basic repairs this would be even better."
"it's still dirty but still fun...the past couple of times the tornado races have been closed but there is still enough slides to go on. if you have a young child there is a child area."
"This place is a dive! We visited today and it took something like 20 minutes queueing to pay. When we paid, we were robbed at £30 for two adults and a kid. THIRTY QUID! You have to go to a changing village (more like a hamlet!) which is right on the poolside. People walking about in outside shoes and others in bare feet in swim gear along the pool side. There was a greeny pleghm snotty spit on the stairs leading down to the "changing hamlet" and the place in general is dirty and bogging! The place is SO cold and going up to the higher slides is like walking through a freezer. It's really not pleasant! The change rooms have no benches, missing or no hooks and some don't even have doors. There are missing/smashed locker doors and the floors are grimy and they're small, VERY small! Wait times for slides/flumes are like 45 minutes for the inflatables rides because there's just not enough staff to keep things moving. Considering this is their thing, water slides, the queue times and lack of organisation is dire and extremely frustrating. I refused to feed the kids (not giving them any more money!) and we left after an hour - and won't ever be returning. It was awful!"
"For and adult and child entrance was about £30 and for that you would expect premium. While the rides are great the building need some tlc there seems to be more gaffer tape and peeling paint than stainless steel."
