Despite the fact that on this occasion, they they couldn't assist, they still took a good deal of time advising me where I can get the best choice from and made sure I was well looked after with an honest, thoughtful, appraisal of my jewelry."
"My boyfriend and I were perusing jewellers in Edinburgh looking for an engagement ring. I had a specific design in mind which was fairly unusual but certainly not ridiculous. Every other jeweller we went into said that it was an unusual design but did all they could to help and advise. Not this place! When we walked in (first impression was that it was very old fashioned, but kept an open mind) the two sales assistants just looked down their noses at us as if we were peasants. The one man that did eventually help us after we approached him(!) actually made fun of the design I described and was of no use whatsoever. Completely unprofessional. I'm not usually rude but I just had to walk out - if he was going to be useless and laugh at the requests of his customers then stuff it. Very unpleasant experience and I certainly won't be back."
