"Sammy loves going to see Ashley for her haircuts and gives Ashley plenty of kisses and her paw all the time. Fantastic groomers, very friendly caring staff, they have plenty of patience with my girl and look after her. I am never worried about Sammy being in their care and she always looks beautiful and smells nice when I pick her up. I highly recommend Short bark n tails."
"First time taking our pup to this groomer. Was very disappointed with the service we received. Gave Ben a photo and a description of what we wanted as we didn’t want him cut short. Returned to find him cut very very short despite having said that we didn’t want this. Contacted owner and received loads of excuses as to why this had happened. Was offered a free bath and tidy for our dog in a few weeks but we didn’t feel confident taking him back so asked for some sort of refund. Owner has now refused any other communication, won’t be returning to this establishment as obviously customer satisfaction in not a priority. Thanks for your reply. I booked Bailey into Short Bark & Tails and was not aware that Ben was employed on a self employed basis. As previously stated Ben only said that it was his ears and beard that were a bit matted. We left contact details with the salon so I’m at a loss as to why we were not contacted prior to the cut. Since you are the owner of the salon I fail to understand why I have to take this up with Ben and at no point was I given contact details for him."
"Great service all round. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bookings can be busy, so expect to have to book quite far in advance, but it's worth it for your pooch! My pug loves a visit!"
"Ben (one of the new groomers) is a good groomer, he done a great job of my Cockapoo last time but I wouldn’t recommend. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule my appointment due to change in work pattern & uncontrollable issues. I gave more than the required notice, Ben came back with 2 slots and I choose one for Monday (I was meant to be off work), on the Thursday before it I messaged to check to see if the other slot was still available as unfortunately I had to go into the office on the Monday now. He responded saying that he can’t keep rescheduling me and just to cancel the appointment. I completely understand the frustrations on clients rescheduling however, given I’ve only rescheduled once I thought it was very harsh to cancel the appointment when I’d already paid the deposit. He told me to call the salon to discuss further, I’ve called the salon 4 times, left a voicemail and haven’t heard anything. I sent Ben a message explaining the situation again, I asked him to reconsider just cancelling given I’d only rescheduled once and I’d already paid my deposit which he was saying was non refundable (fair enough if I cancelled but I never, I tried to reschedule and gave 5 days notice - their terms ask for 24 hours). Ben & the salon has ignored my messages since. I wouldn’t recommend Ben as a groomer due to poor client treatment and unfortunately now can’t use Short Bark & Tails."
