"Another lovely meal at the Stables. The food, as ever was fantastic, and the service was calm, attentive and efficient. We'll be coming back soon."
"Potholes and unnecessarily aggressive speed bumps in the drive way aggravate me hugely on every visit. Speed bumps are good but these ones are horrible and to steep. Even at very low speeds, are extremely jarring. They are worse than speed bumps on public roads."
"While attending Oaklands college, I must say they were the best days of my life. From the unhelpful staff to the rude students. Oaklands is the perfect place for you. Do you like feeling confused? Well I have just the place! Despite all its wrong doings, I met the love of my life here Gertrude Shinglebe. She wasn't a student but she camped in the bushes on the walk up to the campus. Her stench was compelling, the twigs and dirt that engulfed her hair was mesmerising. It took me a while to approach her but I knew I'd regret it if I didn't... So I did, I told her I loved her from the moment I saw her glaring at me from the tree line, she blushed and told me she had been waiting for my confession for a few months now. We've been dating for 3 days, 16 minuets and 36 seconds... I couldn't be happier. Thank you Oaklands for bringing me my boompa. But not so much for the intense stress and pain this college inflicted on me... It was worth it for my little Gerty *blushes*"
"I do not recommend the art course at this college. They don't actually teach you how to improve your drawing skills and artistic skills in general, they more or less just expect you to figure it out on your own. At one point, one of the teachers on the course actually asked me if I was studying YouTube tutorial videos on how to draw, and I was just like... hang on a second, teaching me how to draw is your job, not YouTube's, the fact that the staff here except the students to do their jobs for them is very telling of how qualified the staff here actually are. Furthermore, we were also given this thing called Moodle, where you check updates on the course and submit work, however it was very confusing to use and the teachers didn't actually teach how to use it, so once again, we were just expected to figure it out on our own, but most of us didn't, and the teachers admitted they didn't know how to use Moodle themselves either, which is extremely telling. Some of us were not able to progress over to Level 2 art, even though we passed 100%, and their explanation was that we didn't have enough "honors" or "distinctions" and when I asked what they were, they couldn't even explain it, which doesn't even make any sense. I am giving this review an extra star because the staff were at-least nice and polite, the students were civil and well behaved and not disruptive and we were able to do artistic stuff such as clay modelling, drawing, painting and such, but other than that, the people in charge seriously need to consider making improvements to the art course."
"Niece went to the open day at the Welwyn Garden City campus and was very shocked at how disorganised the staff was. They kept blaming it due to staff shortages but even when the staff were responding the peoples questions they were very unhelpful and very much not really interested in anything."
