Reviews
"Great choice but it gets too busy. Not big enough to seat everyone."
"Friendly, with top quality beverages, expert advice, and small enough to get into chats with fellow customers. Not the typical pub experience, but better - a great place to enjoy craft beers and ciders."
"It feels like no matter how regularly I go, there's always a new beer to try! Great atmosphere, great selection and if you're not sure which to choose there's the option of a flight (3 different 1/3 of a pint) highly recommended!"
"Celebrating its first anniversary this former optician's shop is the last place you'd expect to find cask-conditioned ale. But its owners specialise in traditional English (and Welsh) beer straight from the barrel and served at room temperature, not chilled as most pubs do to attract younger drinkers. Not much space, especially with social distancing and the decor still looks like, er, an optician's - but the beer's excellent and it attracts a sociable crowd."
