"Earlier on in the year I decided to do a personal photographic project that involves flowers. The intention was to photograph then in varying locations/settings and in various states - from newly arrived (fresh) - as they were starting to bloom - and yes, as they were dying and then dead... Yeah, a bit of a weird photographic project but there you go... I decided that Lavender Blue Florist would be my supplier and get a brand new, fresh bunch each week - all based on pictures I wanted to re-create (think Grand Master Painting) - Each Week I've been delivered flowers well above my expectation and they have filled my home with their wonderful blooms. Only problem I've got is that my home is now full to the brim because the flowers are lasting well over a week, more often than not they are lasting two weeks and some have been lasting into a third week... So, not a lot of photography of dead flowers has been happening. I've followed the instructions, changing the water frequently, topping the water up each day (sometimes twice - they are thirsty little things) keeping them away from sunlight and heat. Because the flowers are so beautifully arranged I also don't want to "Pull-Apart" the arrangements - that I'd initially intended to do so, literally, I am making time each day to smell the roses... Thank You Lavender Blue Florist for helping me to do my photographic project, or not at the case maybe... I will post some photos below of flowers I received last Thursday - You will see they are still going strong."
