"Worst doctors surgery I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It is neigh on impossible to get a doctors appointment. They want you as a patient to call them at 8 in the morning for a telephone consultation which could be at any time during the day. The issue is that it’s between 50-100 attempts at calling them before you will get through (at a minimum). They have, by the phone diagnosed my issue twice and the medication they have prescribed has not worked. Went today to ask for a face to face doctors appointment to be told it was impossible without a phone consultation. I simply don’t have time for this nonsense, they already know what the issue is. If you’re looking for a new doctor surgery, do yourself a solid and steer clear. I’m now going to try and join a different surgery. If there was an option for zero stars, I would have given it!"

"I've been attending this same building for GP care since the age of 3 years old. The doctors, while competent, are not assigned to a particular patient. Dr Hay was my assigned GP from a very young age and when you phone up now, I believe it's whatever doctor is available. Telephone consultations seem to be a common thing in the past few years. That's probably to streamline and offer a more efficient service, but on one occasion, I really felt I needed a face that face and the GP said "well what can you expect me to do being a GP. Factually he was correct, however, my medical condition at the time, I felt a face to face was a must but I stuck with the status quo."

"Lately I had to visit the GP on several occasions and I must say that the care I was given was very good. They saw me always promptly and they made me feel they cared about my concerns and I felt well looked after. I saw several different people (doctors, clinicians, physio therapist) and I must say that everyone I saw there were really listening to me and were keen to help me. The doctor I saw the last couple of times took the extra step of explaining his diagnosis on my level and made me understand the issue which made me calmer. He also took the time to answer all my questions, I did not feel rushed and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and thorough. I got prompt referrals when needed and I got updates on results within the expected time frame via calls/text messages. Parking was very easy and makes the visit more convenient. Thank you to all at the medical practice who have contributed to this experience for me."

"It’s a sign of the times that you may not get same day appointments. Not their fault. I find the desk staff really professional and friendly and physio appointment was great."

"Paracetamol, Paracetamol, Paracetamol even if you have a heart attack you have to rely on Paracetamol- funny but true. Doctors have zero idea about treatment, their job is rather to prescribe cocodamol, or as I wrote above paracetamol. Don't count on an ultrasound, x-rays are a bunch of ignoramuses and all you can get from them is a stethoscope auscultation, or a blood pressure measurement, and even if your blood pressure is 170 out of 110 the doctor says your blood pressure is normal - a real specialist from him. Don't count on any in-depth treatment on appointment, this bunch will only examine you from the outside you can't count on to find out what is wrong with you from the inside - they don't care. All that matters to them is a telephone consultation and the problem is over, because they don't have to make much effort to examine the patient. In a nutshell: PARACETAMOL is a cure for everything, even for stroke and heart attack :D They should close it down and at the same time remove those unpleasant people from reception who get terribly tired when they have to answer the phone and try to talk to people."
