Reviews
"Not bad.. Breakfast sausages could be of better quality/higher meat content and would like some black pudding added to the traditional breakfast."
"Quite posh, more like a restaurant than cafe. Good not particularly good though, the chef just heats up things from bags so wouldn't particularly recommend. Mainly an older clientele."
"Always kept clean. Choice of beverages and cakes etc is always excellent. Discovered today that you can even buy a beer in the café, as long as each drink is complemented with food (tip: a small packet of biscuits counts!). Pleasant atmosphere (with just-audible background music) and comfortable seating aplenty, including a few soft-top 'easy' chairs. Prices are more reasonable than you may expect from Waitrose (who put quality above cost) and there's never a shortage of happy staff taking your order. Plenty of space, good disabled access and the car park is large and free. Choosing to frequent this more than the many coffee lounges in the town actually..."
"Generally poor quality of service. When you get food or a drink it is good. Sadly most tables are dirty."
"Very good after the store revamp at the end of last year. Partitioned from the rest of the store by a modern take on the 1970s room divider. A nice pastry display table, separate from the main counter. Plenty of seating. No free newspapers in evidence, but who cares? We all use our phones now and printed paper makes eco-unfriendly waste."
