"Came highly recommended from a friend and I can see why. The amazing display of food catches you as you walk passed. Hasan makes everything from scratch, including his amazing pillowy flatbreads. We started with homemade baba ganoush, which was delicious and made me feel healthy eating it. My Adana kebab was a huge portion, cooked perfectly with a side of garlic yoghurt and chilli sauce. It also came with both a tasty bulgar wheat dressed in a tangy tomato sauce, as well as a portion of fluffy rice all for under £12. My partner had a massive chicken kebab with the meat being succulent and smoky from the charcoal cooking. Hasan laid down a generous, vibrant salad and more of his tasty flatbreads that he passionately rolls out right in front of you. Worth noting it's also BYOB and there's a handy Oddbins a couple of minutes away to pick up wine or cold beers. Hasan was a very warm host, always checking if you need anything and chatting away to guests. He's clearly very hard working and passionate about his food. Check it out!"
"Amazing doner wraps and baklava. The owner makes the wraps fresh to order and they are insanely good with plenty of fresh veggies and meat. Perfect for a quick bite to walk with as you explore the city!"
"Very tasty, huge lamb kebab, absolute bargain. Chef is amazing, we are delighted with his stories. Must go place if you are in hunt for tasty kebabs and Turkish food."
"Don't let the outside fool you! Beneath the broken tiles and posters that would rather fit a coffee shop, is the best kebab you will ever eat. The meat was juicy and tender with the homemade wrap made before us, the skinny long kebab was perfect as you would get the perfect ratio of meat to vegetables every bite! This restaurant is living proof to never judge a book by its cover. + plus the baklava's were delicious."
"Amazing food and sweet owner. The kebab I ordered was made fresh and was so juicy inside. The rice and bulgar wheat were both very tasty, I could have ate that by itself. The portions may look small but there was a salad on the side and additional bread so it did fill me up well. My friends ordered a wrap and it was hand made infront of us and not pre packaged wraps! I think that’s a very rare find. The only downfall is that the restaurant doesn’t look very clean with the tables and the broken tiles. The tables weren’t wiped but the owner cleaned it for us without being prompted. I really did enjoy my dinner here, I wish I lived in leith so I could go here more often. The baklava as well was delicious, it was my first time trying chocolate baklava and it was genueinly delicious. I’ll also go back to try kunafa which is freshly made (so place your order 20 mins or so before leaving) I think the tram building has affected business badly so definitely go here and try the food!"
