"Firstly, I’d like to start by saying the size and design of the restaurant is perfect. Is doesn’t have too many seats and feels like a very peaceful place where you can go and be able to hear what the person across of you is hearing. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Now, the most important part, the food. I had the bread with chimuchuri, the nachos, and the empanadas to start with. The bread with chimmichuri was very basic and nothing more or less than you’d expect from some nice toasted bread. The nachos were very flavorful and generous with the toppings, even though I would’ve liked the cheese to be more melted instead of aggregated together with the nachos. The empanadas came with one vegetarian option containing cheese and tomato sauce, which was wonderful. The meat empanada had a unique taste which wasn’t my favorite but if this is how Latin empanadas are made, who am I to fault them. For the main, I got a ribeye steak, which came cooked exactly as I requested, being medium. Definitely very tender and flavorful, I’m guessing the chef didn’t add much salt as I had to add some myself but that is plausible as some people don’t like a good amount of salt, so I appreciated the option. It came with a side salad which was a very nice contrast to the heavy piece of steak, as well as one portobello mushroom which I didn’t really enjoy or see the point of, I would’ve much rather preferred something like some roast peppers or even potatoes, but again, I came for the steak so I didn’t care for a mushroom I didn’t like. I got 3 sauces with the steak, garlic butter, peppercorn, and chimmichuri. I would definitely only go for the garlic butter next time. I also had the asparagus with the peppercorn sauce which was a wonderful addition. To finish off for dessert, I had a sticky toffee pudding which was made excellently with very profound flavors."
"A very nice place. Wasn't crowdy when I was there. The food is tasty, the service is super friendly and attentive, no annoying elements. Decorations and atmosphere are also on a high level."
"The smiling welcome was just the beginning. The decor and soundtrack generates a really good atmosphere with energy and interest. The colourful decor has real character and the background music made it easy to relax and chat. The menu is interesting and it would be great to live nearby so we could work our way through it. Playing boringly safe and being very hungry, we opted for a beef and a chicken burger. Both were delicious (we halved them and each tried both) perfectly cooked with fresh salad and great dressings. The house fries were also good. Washed down with a pint of Estrella our meals were perfect - tasty, hot and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were lovely, attentive, but not overpowering. It definitely felt like they enjoyed what they were doing. A brilliant, intimate restaurant offering excellent food at value for money pricing. We want to return."
"The burgers were filling, though they could have added some salad on the plate. Fried calamari so very tasty and soft to chew, sadly 5 rings of calamari on the plate do not justify their price. Garlic bread also very tasty and mouth-watering, but a few thin slices of a baguette isn't a good side dish. Desserts were very well made and presented. The staff were friendly but I didn't appreciate them coming to the table every 2' (by the clock) to ask us if we are ready to order. Felt so pressured to order, I didn't like it at all and was uncomfortable. Please give your guests time to choose from your catalogue especially if they are not familiar with the cuisine and need some extra time to read the ingredients and the composition of the dishes you offer. We know where you are and we can call for you when we are ready, the place is not big and we literally see you across the room watching. We had a nice time though, nice atmosphere and music."
