"Lovely place to train and to learn judo very friendly atmosphere"
"Absolutely wonderful environment for all participants. As a sports coach I understand that the philosophy of a club followed by coaches is vital to a child's development and positive experience. I can honestly say the ethics, philosophy, time and effort invested from the coaches creates a wonderful environment for learning competing and development. Couldn't be happier my children attend here, I could talk about it all day, I suggest make contact and see for yourself"
"I got injured a few years ago. ,and was taken off Matt and given no assistance.Training is random got throw by a black belt with a stomach throw twice. The chief instructor an old man is well past his sell by date!"
"The best dojo and sensai's there to really teach you about the martial art your learning. I've had a very great experience there although i am farely new. That never stops me from coming back.A lovely place filled with the most greatest students. Will keep you coming back for more."
"I would not recommend this club to any senior. I threw a 1st kyu (brown belt) female in a clean and fair o-soto-gari. The female cried, but I expect it was more shock as she clarified to me that I didn't land on her. Immediately the Dan grade who was running the session told me I did land on her and that I should stay on my feet. He then decided to go on with me and came full pelt, throwing me several times including a rough and tumble Uchi-mata (no skill) that consequently injured my groin. Being the coach I believe his actions were unprofessional because a coach should never beat up or injure students of the sport but lead by example. There was then strong animosity toward me from many of the coaches/spectators and with myinjury j simply got changed and left the club. Whilst I was getting changed to spectators came in the changing room to see what I was doing(odd). There was no real hospitality shown for the injury that had been caused by the coach's ill technique. In my opinion this is a club that has its favourites and if I had thrown the female with any other technique the same result would have occurred. Outsiders and not welcome. Never again!!"
