"I joined this college in 2011. I had lived in a different country for a number of years before eventually moving back to england. They wouldn't allow me to do my GCSE's because of this, so I had to enrol in a level 1 course which was the easiest study I have ever completed, I aced every test with 100%. After I had completed that level 1 in functional skills they allowed me to complete 6 GCSE'S in 2012. At the time this was the only college which gave students an option to do their GCSE's. And I am very thankful for that. Their teachers, facilities and support were excellent. I then enrolled on two level 3 courses one was a BTEC in IT at Bromley and the other an access course at Orpington. The IT course had some good teachers but one in particular didn't teach us, he was eventually fired (Or had an early retirement) we're not entirely sure. The access course was fantastic and all of the teachers were superb. I thank Bromley college (at the time) for all that they have done for me. I'm not sure if they still offer 6 GCSE's for 16-18 year olds but without them I wouldn't have been able to go to university."
"Terrible college had awful experience here while doing my Level 2 Functional skills maths. College put me on the wrong course twice and got my information wrong three times when i enrolled. Teaching for maths was terrible my teacher was pretty much not bothered. Support was poor i felt like all my problems where ignored by the staff. I don't recommend this college you will waste your time and money."
"I went to the campus for an interview with the Counselling dept regarding a Level four counselling diploma and was talked into enrolling onto a Substance misuse course. The reason I enrolled onto the course was that I was led to believe It would guarantee me a place on the Diploma in counselling course but no Julie informed me that places were reserved for their Level three students, there was no mention of this before I enrolled. I enjoyed the Substance misuse course but really it was a waste of my time and money. I am diagnosed with ADHD and this experience really upset me. There was a feeble offer from Julie that if anyone dropped out I would be first on the list but that was the last I heard from anyone. Frank Jones"
"Ex student-Happy to give u course work every week but take 3 months to get certificate and Plus they don’t give a chance on other levels for example level 3 I had to get another company to do my level 3 because they give chances to people. Would not recommend this College to another or Bromley College. I would thank my tutor for everything for course but the let down was not given a chance in higher level How can you prove yourself if not given the chance Kinda happy to leave ,got done dirty again wouldn’t even discuss my future with me after I finished. My work have faith in me clearly not here and have gone to future works, they give chances. Would recommend this place I’m in"
