"Really well equipped and both lectures and students seem to enjoy what they are doing. Great place for young people to study music. No accommodation or parking but good transport links."
"I tried to transfer from BIMM Dublin to BIMM London. I did my entrance exams in April, got my place kind of accepted 2 weeks ago (Mid Sept). Then they asked me to do English exams, despite the fact I was already a BIMM student in another English speaking country. Then, after classes started, they say: congrats, etc. Ask for bank statements etc. Then i receive a message saying: you’re 2 days late, because it took them 6 months to review my documents and if I didn’t contact College Principal, I don’t think I’d ever get a reply. At the end of the day, college in Dublin already started, college in London already started and I have been sitting in Russia for 5 months not knowing if I got it or not. Now they say I’m late and I need to do online until January. No organisation, barely ever pick up phone. Spent hundreds of pounds trying to get documents for visa and the English exam. And now They want me to do online and pay 12k£ for it, because they’re docs review was late and they only reply on my emails on the next day (at least)."
"DO NOT GO TO BIMM LONDON. When I applied I remember seeing bad reviews and thinking 'it cant be that bad'. I'm doing music business and have been taught the same content all three years in a row. After complaining about multiple things to the head of module and head of education, nothing has been changed. While there are some nice lecturers who genuinely try to help and advise you best they can, the rest do not care about your mental health, especially through these very destructive, hard times. There has been NO consideration for the students during covid-19 and lockdowns and we are treated as though we should be completing work as usual and there are no excuses. The only thing I will get from it is a degree and knowledge that I could've read from a book."
"My experience from Tech music school has been amazing for several different reasons. What was important for me, starting this school, was the obvious. And that was that the level of teaching was high. That the teachers never stopped trying to inspire and help students grow. And that is what I experienced during my 2 years of study. I think the most important part of any studies is that you have to have an idea of what you want to get out of the course when finishing. If you have that and you work hard, Tech music school is the perfect place to develope yourself as a musician and artist. Not only is the teaching great, but what makes it even more great is the students that you work with everyday. People from all over the world come to study at this school and the mix of culture and music is wonderful. It is also a very good place to form proffessional contacts, with both the teachers and some students, working in the music industry. Of course, every school has its flaws, and Tech music school is no exception. The school is, however, open to communication and you can make your voice heard with any issue that you feel needs to be brought up. So in conclusion: I warmly recommend this school for any musician that wants to be in a intense music enviroment that both the school itself and London as a city creates."
"I have just finished my third year degree at Tech Music School and an year before I did a Diploma course. After these four years I can say that I have get a big library of knowledge and the teachers are AMAZING with loads of experience and a very high standard of preparation. The school's structure is very well organized and it's very hard to manage a school with a very big number of student and courses. I will definitely recommend this school and the good thing is that you can confront yourself with other people throughout the world. Finally, I want to thanks TMS as I am going to play at the ceremonies of the Olympics in London 2012 and they gave me the contact for the audition. Samuele"
