"Great self service guesthouse!!! Clean, tidy, quiet, just what I was looking for and amazing for the price!"
"It was difficult for a foreign student who was moving to the UK for the first time to find housing. Yet I was lucky enough to secure such a snug, pleasant, and comfy guesthouse very adjacent to my university, UWS. Since I've been staying here for about 2 week, I feel qualified to recommend it to my close companions. It's not just the peaceful, comfortable atmosphere; the owner is also welcoming enough to make you feel at home. If you want to stay conveniently and pleasantly, I would suggest choosing this guest house since I am very happy with the services and collaboration."
"Utterly awful. There are no staff. You use an intercom to get a code for the door (don't know how often it is changed, or how many people have access). The communal showers & toilets are pretty grubby & there are no cleaning products to use in order to clean anything before you use it. The key safe codes for every room are exactly the same! I had the use of a toilet in my room. There was also a double socket with a plug in it & holes around the socket plus a hard wired cable into a different socket. The rooms are poorly lit & means you don't see the stains on the bedding. I would not recommend this place. I booked 2 nights but only stayed 1. It didn't feel safe."
"The cost of this place is unbeatable, £207 for 5 nights in July. It's basic but nice accomodation and you really can't complain for the price. We stayed in room 9 which is a spacious double room, the TV was equipped with Sky. There was tea and a kettle to use, with a filtered water cooler in the hall. The guesthouse has shared bathrooms but the one I used was modern looking and kept clean, I never had to wait to use it. No staff around but easy to talk to via messaging, we arrived late and could check ourselves in with door codes. 12 min walk from a train station that connects to Glasgow central (10 mins on the train) for £4.30 a day. Great location for seeing Glasgow on a budget. Super close to the airport if you're flying too. The only issue we had was getting back to Paisley late at night -as we had come to Glasgow for trnsmt festival- it could take up to an hour to get a cab and prices were £25-£30 per night. Really not sure why so many people have slated this place, you get what you pay for!"
"the photos do not correspond to reality. I paid for a double room with a private bathroom, instead I get a room with a toilet (only a wooden crate in the room!!). The shared bathroom was dirty - used towels were lying on the floor. I wonder when the bathroom was last cleaned? The room seemed provisional and cheaply made with simple wood paneling behind which the heating and plumbing were visible. The bed didn't look freshly made (creased and stained) so we preferred to use our sleeping bags."
