"My child has been attending Play & Learn Nursery for over 3 years and is by far an outstanding 5-star rated nursery and preschool in this area. The staff are incredibly hardworking, dedicated and the children are so happy. There is a very warm, family feel and children are looked after with upmost care. Catering for all children's needs, and a wide range of delicious homecooked meals produced onsite (5-star food hygiene rating). As I returned to work, I was never concerned as they are so happy and comfortable with the routines. All the children are beaming with smiles at home-time, it's a clear visible indication of the tireless hard work all the staff does to keep the children happy and safe whilst learning. I also know the owner of the nursery who was an Outstanding childminder. My child is so pleased to attend and learn, topics including, 'money', 'planets', 'the farm', 'cooking' and can write names, numbers and verbally express with ease, and now ready for the transition to School. My child often brings home great work to show us, along with short exercises we can do together, which gives them so much pride! They have gone above and beyond for flexibility and accommodated all my requests - which I haven't seen in any nursery before. We will greatly miss the nursery, but know that all the extra teachings and learnings will give them a step ahead when School begins."

"In 2019, I noticed that my son who was 2 years old at the time, was not talking and always had meltdowns. His childminder could no longer cope and the first nursery I moved him to could not meet his needs either. I approached Play & Learn and had a chat with the manager Millie. I mentioned that my son could not yet speak, fussy eater, meltdowns...etc. She was very reassuring and told me that she had experience in working with children with special needs. Millie and all the staff went the extra mile to help my son settle and after a while he began to look forward to going to nursery. Millie worked relentless with both Redbridge and Essex SENCO team to bring in one-to-one support teacher for my son. He was later diagnosed with autism in 2020 and Millie continued to work with my son's speech and language therapist and educational psychologist to help him meet his targets. The help he received at Play & Learn for the 2 years he was there, really helped him to be included in activities, which has improved his confidence for when he starts reception at a special needs school in Sept 2021. I highly recommend the nursery!"

"My son has been at Play and Learn nursery from 3 years old and we are sad to be leaving as he moves into reception. EVERY member of staff is amazing. They have all got to know my son as an individual and I couldn’t have asked for better preparation for school. He always enjoys his day, speaks highly of his teachers (a couple of which he has made a special bond) and his friends. The nursery has taught him about ‘the world’ such as the planets, growing plants , different cultures as well as a focus on his educational learning - I have seen a big improvement in his drawing, numbers and letters. The food provided by the nursery is a good variety and he tells me how much he enjoys it. We are both sad to be leaving and would definitely recommend this nursery as a great start for your little one."
